The countless water sports that Lake Achensee has to offer are particularly attractive in summer. At the bathing beach Buchau, which is only a five-minute walk from our house in Maurach, you can relax and enjoy the sun while watching the water sports enthusiasts sail, surf, or kitesurf.
A holiday in Maurach am Achensee is also ideal for Alpine sports. The nearby Rofan Mountains with the cable car of the same name (only a few minutes' walk from the hotel) and the Karwendel Mountains are particularly popular among hikers, climbers, and mountain bikers in summer. In winter, our guests mainly come for cross-country skiing, skiing, and ski touring.
