People seeking relaxation are drawn to our small holiday resort in the Tyrolean mountains, above all, because of the idyllic Lake Achensee. Many active holidaymakers also find their way to Maurach. The countless water sports that Lake Achensee has to offer are particularly attractive in summer. At the bathing beach Buchau, which is only a five-minute walk from our house in Maurach, you can relax and enjoy the sun while watching the water sports enthusiasts sail, surf, or kitesurf.
A holiday in Maurach am Achensee is also ideal for Alpine sports. The nearby Rofan Mountains with the cable car of the same name (only a few minutes' walk from the hotel) and the Karwendel Mountains are particularly popular among hikers, climbers, and mountain bikers in summer. In winter, our guests mainly come for cross-country skiing, skiing, and ski touring.
